Welcome to this page where we can introduce you to the Foundation’s organization. The Foundation is proud of its diverse representation, with five different airlines represented, a well known writer-aviation historian-retired admiral, the World Airline Historical Society is represented and the list goes on with retired airline captains, an airline administrator, maintenance supervisor, and several with A&P ratings, a retired attorney and selected others. All are volunteers and there is no personal monetary gain given. The board members are listed on the left-hand margin.

The U.S. Airline Industry Museum Foundation, Inc. is a long name but it signifies that the whole airline industry in all its facets needs to be remembered in a world-class facility. It was incorporated January 1, 2000, under the Florida Not-For-Profit Act, Chapter 617, as amended. The assigned document number is N99000007354. Application for Recognition of Exemption under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code was made January 5, 2000 and was approved by Determination Letter Number 403321015, dated August 25, 2000.This letter of approval designates the USAIMF as a tax exemption organization and all donations, monetary or otherwise are tax deductible to the full extent of the tax codes.


Mission Statement

The Foundation’s avowed primary goals are to encourage the conception and nurture the development of a museum dedicated to the heritage of the airline industry of the United States. Accomplishing that primary goal, the Foundation then will support the museum and pursue its ultimate goal of heritage preservation, and in gratitude, assist in the education of future generations in the values that made the U.S. airline industry achieve greatness.
